Willia Mae Kuper, age 89, of Wisetown passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at St John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 11 AM at Wisetown Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Bond County Senior Center.
Willia was born on August 4, 1926 in Talbott, TN to William and Mary (Knight) Walker. She married Truman Hannah and they later divorced. She then married Harry Kuper in August of 1965 in Versailles, MO. She is survived by her husband Harry Kuper of Wisetown, five children, two brothers James Guy Walker of Michigan and Frank Walker of Morristown, TN, along with a sister Mary Jo Dyard also of Morristown, TN. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son William Orville Hannah in infancy and a daughter Rose Marie Dasenbrock.
She grew up in Tennessee and later moved to Missouri. She moved to Wisetown after her marriage and worked at Chastain Nursing Home in Highland.
