Obituary for Virginia Albert Rogier

Virginia was born in Centralia, IL to Brown and Nancy (Slusser) Hawkins. She married Elmo Albert on January 10, 1931 in Salem, IL. He died April 12, 1980. She later married Carol Rogier on February 22, 1986 in Wisetown, IL. He died December 19, 1991. She is survived by her daughter Shirla (Kenneth) Zobrist and a step-daughter Marilyn (Robert) Wray. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty great grand children and ten great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, a son Ralph Albert, a daughter Delores Faye Sugg, and a sister Jen Goodall. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Wisetown Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society. She grew up in Salem and Centraila, IL and graduated from Centralia High School. She had worked at Brown Shoe Company in Salem. She moved to Bond County in 1942 and assisted with the family farm south of Greenville. She moved to Highland, IL in 2004. She was a member of the Bond County Home Bureau and a past member of The Order of The Eastern Star.
