Vernon T. Heuer

Vernon T. Heuer, age 44, of Lebanon, TN passed away September 9, 2011 in Greenville, IL. There will be a Celebration of His Life on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 7 PM at The Greenville First Christian Church, 1100 Killarney Drive, Greenville, IL 62246. Friends may call Wednesday after 4 PM at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Vern Heuer Great Nieces and Nephews College Fund. Vern was born on December 30, 1966 in East. St. Louis, IL to Vernon Dale and Frances Oneida (Storey) Heuer. He grew up in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School where he was an All-Star in Football, Baseball, and Track. He worked for 20 years as a hod carrier and had most recently been working on the family farm in Lebanon, TN. He was an avid gardener and canner. He loved the outdoors and his dogs Pete and Pete, Jr. He had planned to wed Jamie Koonce-Hess on November 12 of this year. He is survived by his sisters, Christine E. (Eugene) Swift and Victoria L. (Jeffrey) Swain both of Lebanon, TN, his half-sister Linda Lou Swift of Caseyville, IL. and his fiance Jamie Koonce- Hess of Lebanon, TN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents
