Thelma M. Scoggins passed away at her home at the age fo 96. She is survived by her daughter Bev Crandell, her sister Winnie Dahl, her brothers Kenny (Marilee) Dunham and Raymond (Anita) Dunham. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons James Scroggins and Jerry Scroggins, five sisters Roberta Fritche, Helen Lynn, Mary Cameron, Marjory Baker, and Reah Grandahl. Also preceded by two brothers Ben Dunham and Marlin Dunham. She was born in Plainview, IL to Maynard and Lucy (Mowen) Dunham. She married Leland Scroggins on May 5, 1945 in Bunker Hill, IL. He died May 28, 2006. She grew up in Gillespie, IL and graduated from Gillespie High School. After her marriage she and her husband lived in Bunker Hill, IL. and Sullivan, MO. They moved to Greenville in 1952 and to Mulberry Grove in 1957. She had worked as a regional manager for Tupperware and had last worked selling real estate for Holzinger Realty in Greenvile. She was a member of The Mulberry Grove United Methodist Church, The Order of The Eastern Star, Mulberry Grove Homemakers, Gold Star Mothers, and The Mulberry Grove Lioness Club. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Mulberry Grove United Methodist Church of Bond County Hopsice.
