Obituary for Ronald F. Lagant

Ronald F. Lagant, age 67, of Greenville passed away, Monday, November 28, 2016 at Helia Healthcare. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 1 PM at Young Funeral Home. Burial will be in Campground Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday, December 3, 2016 after 11 AM. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Greenville First Christian Church or Campground Cemetery.

Ron was born May 29, 1949 in Hillsboro, IL to Evert F. and Betty (Sanders) LaGant. He is survived by his mother Betty Lagant of Greenville, his sisters Beverly Stilt and her husband Ronald of Wisetown, IL and Judy Laurent and her husband Gary of Donnellson, IL. along with his brother Larry Lagant and his wife Linda of Greenville, IL. He was preceded in death by his father.

He grew up in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School in 1967. He then attended and graduated from Greenville College with a BS in Art Electronics. He had worked for Nevco Scoreboard Company and Greenville College Physical Plant. He most recently was an independent contractor in Greenville. He was an avid supporter of Faith Life Ministries in Branson, MO.
