Ricky Carroll Meyer

Ricky C. Meyer, age 57, of Greenville passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, IL. No services are scheduled and burial will be in German Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.

Ricky was born on September 4, 1959 in Highland, IL to Carroll Gene and Shirley (Meskil) Meyer. He married Sarah Walker in 1992. He is survived by his wife Sarah of Greenville, his son Travis Walker of Greenville, his brothers Dennis Blankenship and his wife Bonnie of Mesa, AZ, Randall Blankenship of Hookdale, IL, and William Meyer of Patoka, IL, his sisters Mary Hollenkamp and her husband Richard of Breese, IL, Debbie Rakers and her husband Norbert of Carlyle, IL, Angela Garbe and her husband Jeff of Crystal Lake, IL, Michelle Kious and her husband John of Greenville, and Vicky Morris of Patoka, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gary Meyer.

He grew up in Jamestown, IL and moved to Greenville in 1972. He worked at Crane Packing in Vandalia, IL until 2014 and was a member of I.A.M Local #1613
