Regina Nadine Young, age 84, of Greenville passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Greenville Nursing and Rehab Center. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11 AM at Young Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to The Reno Baptist Church or Greenville Nursing and Rehab Activities Department.

Regina was born April 19, 1934 in Reno, Illinois to Commodore and Marie (Huber) Dressor. She married Lee Young on June 15, 1952 in Greenville, IL. She is survived by her husband Lee of Greenville, IL, her son Garry Young of Greenville, her granddaughters, Michelle Peitzmann and her husband Michael of Hillsboro, IL and Lee-Anne Marie Rommerskirchen and her husband Ian of St. Jacob, IL., along with five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She grew up in Reno area and attended Reno School and graduated from Greenville High School. She and her husband farmed in the Sorento area. She sold Stanley Products for a time and also sold Wausau Homes. She and her husband moved to Greenville in 1985. She was a member of The Order of The Eastern Star and The Sorento Free Methodist Church.

  1. Regina was always beautiful and elegant. She had a loving kind heart. She and Lee were always a big part of our family gatherings. I think of her everytime I see a cardinal, she loved them so. I have lots of special memories I will treasure, I am blessed to have had her in my life, she was like a second Mom.
