Pauline G. "Paula" Brackenhoff

Pauline G. "Paula" Brackenhoff passed at Des Pere Hospital at the age of 93. She was born in Vienna, Austria to Rudpolph and Viktoria (Susic) Svoboda. She married Franz Glaw on May 25, 1941 in Vienna, Austria. He preceded her in death. She later married Virgil Brackenhoff n October of 1948 in Vienna, Austria. He died in 1981. She is survived by her daughter Gudron Glaw Grace of St. Louis, MO, her granddaughter Ingrid Nevinger, and her grandson Robert Nevinger. She grew up in Austria where she worked with her mother running a coffee shop. She moved to the United States in July of 1953 and lived in Washington, DC. She and her husband then moved to Mulberry Grove, IL where they operated the Ranch Motel and later Brackenhoff Hardware Store. She moved to St. Louis in 2006.
