Paula Johlen Winters, age 49, of St. Louis, MO and formerly of Smithboro, IL passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at her home in St. Louis. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11 AM at the Smithboro Baptist Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.

Paula was born July 11, 1967 in Vandalia, IL to Gary and Louise (Rhodes) Winters. She married Nathan Douglas Jones in St. Louis, MO. He died in 2013. She is survived by her mother Louise Eller of Smithboro, IL, her sisters Connie Renea Gipson and her husband Terry of Greenville, IL, Sandy Zinkgraf of Greenville, IL and Rebecca Ruth Hayes and her husband Jim of Millersburg, IL. She is also survived by her brothers Terry D. Winters and his wife Melinda of Brownstown, IL and William Arthur Winters of Smithboro, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband and her father.

She grew up in Smithboro and graduated from Mulberry Grove High School. She had lived in St. Louis for the last 20 years and worked as a dispatcher for several trucking firms.
