Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My DEAR friend. I knew Pat for 55 years. She was like a sister to me at times and like a Mother to me at other times. We had so many great times together with Les and she, camping, concerts, racing and just opening her/their home to us and many others. Many lives will be a little more empty with her passing but we have so many great memories to fall back on. We’re all fortunate to have known her, she will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace my good friend.

  2. I had the honor of meeting Pat through her amazing daughter, Amy Wood. Pat and I took to each other like we had been friends all our lives. She was an outstanding mother, a wonderful friend and I will miss her dearly.

  3. Pat and Les were instrumental in raising my little brother after our father died in 1975. If not for their patience and guidance, I don't know how he would have turned out. Our eternal thanks. Rest in peace. Gary Evans and family

  4. No words can convey my sorrow, my fondness, my appreciation, my admiration for and of Pat. A few weeks after my new bride Gail and I married and moved to Greenville, we met Pat and Les through mutual friends in Pat’s home. We were embraced immediately as friends of friends and thus, began a life-long friendship. Pat and Gail became fast friends as did Les and I. They played cards into the wee hours as Les & the guys and I worked in the shop night after night. Pat would deliver pan-fried chicken or popcorn, or whatever she had to us. It was truly a blessed time of friendship, hospitality, learning, and growth. Nothing can replace that amazing time in our lives, not will time erase the memories. Can’t wait to see Pat again on the other side. As we weep at her departure, hosts of heaven rejoiced at her arrival on the heavenly shores. Rest in His perfect embrace, our friend. We won’t see you here or there, but we will assuredly see you in the air!

  5. I am so sorry to read of Pat's passing, I have such fond memories of our youth , she had a kind heart and was a good person she will be missed by many people. what more can you ask form life than people will truly miss you being in this world. She is at Peace with the Lord Pat Huffman.

  6. Sending my deepest sympathy to you Les and your family for the loss of pat. She was always a pleasure to be around, gracious and friendly. Nothing but good memories of her.
