Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Beth and Brad – So sorry to hear about your Mom even though I know she is with God and reunited with your Dad. She was a special lady and such a good friend to my Mom. I remember spending what seemed like hours in the chair when I got a permanent! That was more than 50 years ago! Beauty care has certainly changed since then. Prayers and hugs to both of you and your families. Chris Gum Garner

  2. Dear Beth Ann and Brad, the connection with your family and mine goes back generations. You're Elam grandparents were my idols growing up and your grandfather helped me with my career. Your mother was a friend of Mother's til the last and I enjoyed the short visits I had with her. In her later years, my Mother took most delight in talking to old friends and Maxine was one of them. We are also, shirt-tail relations, one of our great-great grandmothers we had common, an Apple. We knew this day was coming and it brings both sadness and release. Both are a blessing. We have deep memories, joys, and a spot that our mothers occupy that no one else does (maybe our Dad's!). So thinking of you both and your clan during this time. Bless Rev Judy Sanders Dye
