Mary Ann Jurgena, age 83, of Greenville passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at Greenville Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Greenville. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 5-8 PM at St. Lawrence Church. Mary Ann was born on June 7, 1932 in St. Rose, IL to John and Anna (Lunitz) Baumgartner. She married Dale Jurgena on November 9, 1968 in Greenville. He died November 20, 2003. She is survived by her son Mark (Denise) Jurgena of Greenville, her sister Dorothy Leidel of Greenville, and two grandchildren Edward and Ella Jurgena. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother John Baumgartner, three sisters Marcie Huber, Bernadine Lauer, and Agnes Baumgartner in infancy. She grew up in Breese and attended St. Dominic's parish schools through the eighth grade. The family then moved to Greenville where she attended and graduated from Greenville High School. She had worked at Basler Electric in Highland and later for Community Care. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Helia Healthcare Activities Department or to masses.
