Marie Therese Weis passed at Faith Countryside Homes. She is survived by her husband Harold F. Weis who she married on January 24, 1947 in St. Louis, her children Mary Christine (Charles) Carlson, John David (Jean) Weis, Timothy Paul (Mary) Weis, Margaret Ann (Gregory) Ramires, and Michael Wayne (Vicki) Weis, her sister Dorothy Dickman, 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Born in Decatur, IL she moved with her family to St. Lous, MO when she was a child. She and her husband moved to Cahokia, IL in 1954 and then to Greenville, IL in 1981. She had worked in nursing and had also operated her own upholstery business. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Greenville. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois

My deepest condolences to Harold and to all the Weis family. I have fond memories of my cousin Theresa, especially in my youth. She will be remembered in my prayers and at Mass this afternoon. If it weren't for the impending snowstorm, I would try to make it to Greenville.

Aunt Therese always had a very special place in my heart. She turned my sad times into fun times when I spent time with my cousins. Her warm, welcoming, comforting smile and gentle ways will certainly be greatly missed. Our Lord welcomes this ANGEL home.

My deepest condolences to the Weis family. I remember spending time at the Weis family home when I was a little girl. Mrs Weis's daughter (Margaret) was a very dear friend to me when growing up.
