Mafalda Jean Devall

Mafalda Jean Devall, age 77, of Hagarstown, IL passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 at Fayette County Hospital. She is survived by her husband Lester Lee Devall, her son Mark Lee Devall, her brothers Harvey Dean (Lorraine) Diveley of Tuscon, AZ, Don Conrad (Bessie) Diveley of Miami, OK, and John Douglas Diveley of Vandalia, IL., her sisters Mona (Carl) Devall of Normal, IL., and Sandra Betti of Steward, FL. She grew up south of Mulberry Grove and moved to Hagarstown after her marriage. She was a member of the Fayette County Home Extension for 18 years and also The Mulberry Grove United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School and Bible School teacher since 1959. She and her husband also served as foster parents.
