Loretta F. Deverick Schade passed away February 2, 2012 at 8:30 PM at her daughter Janet's home north of Mulberry Grove. Loretta is survived by children; Dean (Debbie) Deverick of Redmond, WA., Joan (David) Walker of Philo, IL., Janet (Allen) Waters of Mulberry Grove, IL., Dale (Connie) Deverick of Smithboro, IL., and David Deverick of Greenville, IL. She is also surived by a sister Doris Goatley of Decatur, IL., 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 step-children, and two step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, two sisters Berniece Summer and Lula Maye Williams, and also a grandson Adam Deverick. Lorretta attended grade school in Shobonier and attended high school in Vandalia. She moved to Smithboro after her first marriage and lived there for 35 years before moving to Mulberry Grove. She retired from DeMoulin Brothers as a seamstress. She was a active member of the Smithboro Baptist Church and a former member of The Mulberry Grove Lioness Club. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, embroidering, and seeing her family together.

Our Deepest Sympathy. The world was a brighter place with Loretta in it. Noticed all the cars in the back lot Tuesday, but had no idea why; except that it might be a funeral service. Just read Tuesday's paper today and saw the announcement. Ken doesn't look at them. We only know a small part of her family, but she left a good legacy behind in them and all the others.
