Kenneth A. Scoggins

Kenneth A. Scoggins, age 71, of Mulberry Grove, IL passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 at St. Louis University Hospital. Funeral services will be he held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11 at Young Funeral Home. Burial will be in Noffsinger Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, January 11, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Young Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Noffsinger Cemetery or The Mulberry Grove Church of Christ. Ken was born December 11, 1944 in Jerseyville, IL to Alvin E. Sies and Mildred A. (Baze) Welch. He married Janet Rench on January 20, 1962 in Alton, IL. He is survived by his wife Janet of Mulberry Grove, his sons Rick (Lisa) Scoggins of Highland, IL, and Rusty (Angela) Scoggins of Mulberry Grove, his half-sisters Georgia Armstrong of Greenville and Dimitria (Sies) Davis of Staunton, IL. He is also survived by his grandchildren Keith (Jessica) Scoggins and Kaleb Scoggins of Mulberry Grove, IL, K Kaylee (Dave) Wilson and Lauren Scoggins of Highland, and Zachary Richardson and Nathan Richardson of Pleasant Mound, IL , and Heather Richardson of Greenville, IL., along with his great grandchildren Blake, Carter, & Khloe Scoggins and Ava & Nora Wilson. He grew up in the Staunton and Jerseyville areas and moved to Mulberry Grove in 1970. He worked at Midwest Commodities for 17 years and the drove a truck for Buske Trucking for 10 years.
