Kathy Sue Yaeger, 63, of Greenville, IL passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, after a year long battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at Young Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11 am. Friends may call from 10 am until time of service. The family suggests memorials be given to the Bond County Humane Society in lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 10 am, at the Mulberry Grove Cemetery. Please be mindful of masks and social distancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vinton and Gladys Yaeger; her grandparents, Lonnie & Beryl Yaeger and Frank & Myrtle Dotray. She is survived by her siblings: Shirley Yaeger, of Locust Grove, Georgia; Lonnie Yaeger, of Stockbridge, Georgia; and Louise Yaeger, of Granite City, Illinois; an aunt, Berniece Boyett of Rogers, Arkansas; a nephew, a great-nephew & niece; and 2 great-great nephews.
Kathy was an employee of Bass Mollett for 33 years, until her retirement in March of this year. She graduated with a Masters degree from SIU-E in 1985. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greenville.
