Jessie Mae Adcock

Jessie Mae Adcock, age 83, of Mulberry Grove passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 1 PM at Young Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, April 23, 2015 after 10 AM. Jessie was born July 4, 1931 in Boulder, IL to Elmer and Viola (Alexander) Clements. She married William H. "Bill" Adock on December 7, 1950 in Greenville, IL. He died June 5, 2005. She is survived by her sons Michael Adcock of Mulberry Grove IL, Brad (Kathy) Adcock of Greenville, IL, and Travis (Amanda) Adcock of Calhoun, GA. Her daughter Beverly (Greg) Brown of Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is also survived by her brothers Charlie (Shirley) Clements of Greenville, IL, James (Marge) Clements of Carlyle, IL, her sister Bernice Clements of Myrtle Beach, SC, her sister-in-law Jean Clements of London, KY. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son Brock Adcock She grew up in Greenville and had worked at The Dollar General Store in Carlyle, IL and also at Sodexo in Greenville. She was a member of Mulberry Grove American Legion Post #1180 Ladies Auxiliary. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
