Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. So very sorry for your loss Bunny. Mr. Lewis taught me a lot in Boy Scouts for all them years he was a great leader for all of us.prayers to you and your family. God Bless

  2. Gary's death will leave an emptiness in many lives, that can now only be filled with memories of the times shared with him. On his life journey here on this Earth, he touched so many other lives with his outgoing nature and humor. Perhaps, even now-God is smiling. We pray that God will provide comfort for all those who now mourn Gary's departure, from his temporary home here on earth and may the sadness they now experience, be replaced with joy, knowing that he has gone to his real home in Heaven. Amen.

  3. Deepest Condolences to the Lewis family…… Gary was a great & awesome Scout Master for years. Gary took many scouts on all kinds of trips, each time we enjoyed the stories & adventures they shared. He will truly be missed by many. He has now gone to join the Lord in Heaven. We will always remember his great qualities, kindness & gentle nature. Thanks for all the great Memories in Scouting.

  4. Bunny and Family, I am sorry to hear of Gary"s passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Our bus trips will never be the same without out our Captain Gary. I know he loved everybody on the bus and he was loved even more.

  5. Gary was a fine person and a great guy from a very special family. My warm thoughts and prayers go out to Mother and the Brothers and Sisters. Although I cannot be there in person, I will always cherish the memories I will have forever. God Bless

  6. Bunny and Family, I was deeply saddened to read about Gary's passing. I have thought of you both many times over the years. Many times I have thought that I would stop in Greenville on the way to Champaign to look Gary up. Gary and I had many memorable times working together in Champaign and he will be missed. My sympathy and prayers are extended to you and all your family.

  7. May these words bring you comfort and hope as they did for our family during our loss. Found at John 11:25 spoken by Our Lord Jesus ½½"Jesus said to her: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." Your neighbor and friend, Maddy Hernandez
