  5. A wonderful friend from our school days , I know all who knew Eddie are sorryful for his passing. He was a tremendous competor and baseball was a lot of fun with Eddie on your side. Spent many a day with Eddie on the farm and in the fur business. So many good memories of years ago. Millie is and was a great wife and he is now at peace and having a great time with Jesus.

  6. Years ago as a small boy from East Texas, my parents gave in to my wishes to drive to the Ed Bauer fur company to meet Mr. Bauer. I had read his trapping catalog so many times that I could tell you what traps or baits were on what page. When we arrived at the Ed Bauer Fur Company, it was Saturday. My father told the lady at the desk how far we had traveled to meet Mr. Bauer and she was able to get us a tour of the company as well as meet Mr. Bauer. He asked me what I was interested in as far as supplies and I was soon stocked up on trapping supplies. Before I left, he gave me a jar of coyote bait under the direction that I would send him the first coyote I cought. I'm 56 years old today and I will never forget my trip and visit with Mr.Bauer. thank you for the opportunity to meet such a wonderful person. My dog ate the bait I was given, so I wasn't able to send Mr. Bauer a coyote pelt.
