David Alan Bauer

David Alan Bauer, age 80, of Long Beach, California died Saturday, October fifth, two thousand thirteen. Graveside services will be held Monday, October 14, 2013 at 11 AM at Maxey Cemetery. David was born June 16, 1933 in Long Beach California and as a child spent many happy summers with the Bauer family in Smithboro, Illinois. David proudly served his community as a member of the Long Beach Police Department. After nearly forty years of law enforcement, David retired as a sergeant. He is survived by his beloved daughters Cynthia and Cassandra, his son in law Jack, and five grandchildren Sara, Kelsey, Caitlin, Spencer, and Taylor.
