  2. We didn't know your dad but on behalf of all your friends in Virginia, we want to extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family as well as your sister and her family. From what I have just read above it seems your dad was a tremendous father, witty friend, and willing advisor to all those who knew him. You are in our prayers.

  5. Kara and Kendra . . . oh the memories!! Your dad was one of the funniest guys, and the things he did at Halloween and other times are just such wonderful wonderful memories. He also was one of the smartest mechanics Terry ever met in his life, and was telling a story this morning about some kind of car your dad was telling him how to do . . .I am so glad you two got him as long as you did, but am sorry your kids won't know him thru their older years, as he would have been a wonderful guide for them into the scary world of adulthood. We are all thinking of you both with love and prayers, and so glad we got to share some of those "Bill" experiences thru the years. It was a pleasure to know him!! You should be so proud of the fact you are his daughters. The thought of him being with your mom again makes the pain a little easier to bear, and I know there are two very happy people smiling down on all of you from Heaven. Love and hugs to you all.

  6. I enjoyed the couple times I met your dad in IL and the times he came to VA to visit. I agree with others….he was funny! And just a good person. Kendra, I still remember you telling me how he baked you a cake on the grill! That has always made me laugh. I'm truly sorry for your loss and will be keeping your family in prayer.

  7. Kendra and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Your Wilroy Baptist family and neighbors love you. Stay strong and knoe that you dad is rejoycing in heaven with Jesus.

  8. Kara, my deepest sympathy to you and the family. I know you will miss him greatly. I did not have the honor of knowing your father, but, know through you what a loving and supportive father he was. May God give you peace and wrap in you in his arms.

  9. Dear Kendra & family, So sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. With love from Paul & Susie.

  10. Dear Kendra (& family), We will be keeping your family in our prayers. Your dad was such a nice man. I remember his smile–he always seemed entertained by the kiddos!

  11. My deepest sympathy for the family. One of my first jobs in college was working for Bill in the summer of 1969. It was called Bill's DX Service in Greenville, I think. I was never much of a mechanic, but Bill was always helpful and understanding. Always energetic, fun loving, and kind. He would always help me when I asked. I aways appreciated his support. One of the first things I noticed that Bill always had so much fun doing work or whatever! I can still see him laughing at me for some of the mechanic jobs I attempted to do. He was always there explaining to me the right way to get the job done. Not once did he ever speak a harsh word to me. I was always pretty impressed on how he lived his life. He was one of my first really great Supervisors. Bill knew how to work with customers and employees. Bill was the Greatest.

  12. My deepest sympathies and condolences to my cousins Kendra and Kara. Your dad was a great man and always remember him laughing and joking when we'd all visit for Christmas or other times through the years. He's in Heaven now and you'll both see him and your mom again one day. God bless you both.
