Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Peggy, Jill, family and friends: It is always such a shock to hear news of a passing. I just adored Bill and enjoyed many great moments with him when we worked together at Scott and Jefferson. I totally loved his wit, generosity, tact, and honesty in all that he said and did. Life is so precious as was Bill's friendship to me. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. I send you my condolences and prayers that God will see you through this time of sorrow. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. Peggy, Jill, and family, Please accept my sympathy for your loss! I attended school with Bill in Greenville and graduated with the class of 1969. Bill was so cool and popular, especiallly in junior high and high school, and yet he was always so kind and friendly with everyone–even those of us who were not in his social group!! I have many memories of his laughter and joy in band and our classes. Last fall, I was so pleased to briefly reconnect with Bill when a few others from our class were remembering another classmate who had passed away. Peggy, I am sorry to have not been able to share in knowing your love for Bill. May your love together and God's eternal love bring you much comfort and peace. You are in our prayers, Barb

  3. Peggy, Bill was such a great guy. I will always remember his laugh and the ever present smile on his face. You are in my prayers. Bruce

  4. Peggy, Bill's cup was always more than half full and his smile let you know that everything was going to be fine. I know he's still smiling at us now. He was a good man. My heart is with you all. Rick Remmler

  5. Bill was one of the truest, nicest people we have ever met. Never have met a person that enjoyed life quite like him, with a quick wit and that ever lasting smile. Peggy, you and Bill will always be in our hearts and our memory. Steve and Cindi

  6. Bill remains a dear friend in my heart and one of the finest people I have ever known. It has been an honor to claim Bill as a friend. Peggy, I have witnessed the love Bill has for you. My heart is saddened with your loss. Jake

  7. Bill was one of the genuinely nicest people I have ever met. The fact that I was able to have him as my supervisor the first year I started my career, was an added bonus. I saw him a few months ago and shared a laugh with him about the old days. I am truly sad I will never be able to hear his laugh and see his smile, ever again. You and your family will stay in my thoughts as I will remember Bill, always.
