Betty Jo Courtright

Betty Jo Courtright passed away November 9, 2001 at her home. she is survived by her daughter Deb Berg of Staunton, IL,her sons Edward (Elaine) Streicher of Granite City, IL, Walter (Christy) Streicher of Alhambra, IL., and Dr. Timothy Streicher (Brent Grimes) of St. Louis, MO., her sisters Carolyn (Jerry) Locandro of Maryville, IL., and Jo Courtright King of Poplar Bluff, MO., her brothers Walter Courtright of Hillsboro, IL., and Clarence Courtright of Arkansas, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister Constance Vera Holland Franklin, and a brother Everett Courtright. Betty attended City Temple Assembly Of God in Granite City for many years where she came to know the Lord. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and pets. She enjoyed spending time playing outside with her precious grandchildren. Her pleasure was feeding the wild birds and planting flowers each spring. Her favorite holiday was Mother's Day because she always received new flowers to plant. She took pride in showing them to her neighbors because they came from her children. Betty passed away and went to be with the Lord with her loving family at her side.
