Arthur Dale Willis

Arthur was born in Mulberry Grove, IL to William and Una (Elmore) Willis. He is survived by eight brothers, Albert Willis, Jerry Willis, Bill (Mary) Willis, Harry, (Loretta) Willis, Maurice (Judy) Willis, Robert (Mary Ann) Willis, Curt (Marcella) Willis, and Mike (Vivian) Willis. Also by six sisters, Shirley (George) Little, Kay Ambuehl, Donna Blankenship, Annabelle (Darrell) Stewart, Dana (Randy) Tedrick, and Della McCormick. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Larry Ray Willis and Lawrence Eugene Willis, a sister Evelyn Rose Kious, two nieces and a one nephew. He grew up in the Mulberry Grove area and graduated from Mulberry Grove High School. He entered the U.S. Army in 1956 and toured Germany, Belgium, and Switzerland. He was honorably discharged in 1958. He then worked in Greenville for Crane Corporation until they moved to Pennsylvania. He then went to work for Crane Packing in Vandalia where he retired after 35 years. He lived north of Mulberry Grove for 16 years and then moved to his current home south of Mulberry Grove. He was member of the Mulberry Grove Church of Christ.
