Jason Sugg, age 43, of Greenville passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017, at his home, surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 11 AM at Young Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday after 5 PM at Young Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Family or The Lemuel Rhodes Cancer Foundation.
Jason was born May 12, 1974, in Greenville to Kenneth and Elois "Bonnie" (Koonce) Sugg. He married Hope Leonberger on June 29, 1996, in Greenville, IL. He is survived by his wife of Greenville, IL, his parents of Greenville, IL, his children Elizabeth Sugg and Luke Sugg both of Greenville, his honorary daughters Samantha Pruitt of Brownstown, IL, Mary-Beth Green of Greenville, IL, Rachel Terry of Mulberry Grove, IL, his brothers Ronnie Bingham of Greenville and Jeff Bingham and his wife Kathy of Hawk Point, MO, his sisters Denise Sugg of Carlyle, IL, and Tammy Wendling and her husband Phillip of Effingham, IL. He is also survived by his nephews Jeffrey Bingham, Ricky Bingham, Keith Bingham, Brandon Bingham, and Dustin Bingham, and his niece Hannah Bingham and by his step-nephew Tyler Sharp, Dusty Sharp, and step-niece Dakota Sharp, and his honorary grand daughter Abigail Roach and his mother and father-in-law Viva Kuepfer and Donnie Kuepfer. He was preceded in death by his paternal grand parents Norman and Josephine Sugg, his maternal grandparents Harold and Lorraine Koonce, and two brothers Gary Bingham and Ricky Sugg in infancy.
He grew up in the Greenville and Mulberry Grove area and graduated from Mulberry Grove High School. He lived in this area all of his life and had worked for Chevron in Highland, IL as an auto body painter and repairman. He opened Powder Plus, Inc with his brother in 2007.
